I posted the site last week but just recently made a streaming mp3 player. I would be most interested to hear how this works. when i tested the site on my dial up, it played really quickly, once you start to see the red bar move across, it should be ok to press play and listen to the song. If you have not seen the site before, I would be interested in your overall thoughts.

thank you

The mp3 works beautifully on my browser (Safari) and connection (Comcast digital cable).
The site, over all, is really nice. Nice transitions and all the rest. I would like to see the red in the mp3 player be brought out a little more... like in door that closes over the content (just in the center bit) or in the box surrounding the links at the left.

Noice job!

Hi,

I just checked it out ... i love those loungy D&B tunes man!!!
And I really like that clean and simple mp3 player ... Im looking everywhere for a decent mp3 player ... but i keep getting one where my browser automatically downloads the mp3 file ...

I hope you read this post so you could help me out a bit?
Thanks

I agree with the goodfolks:) It's a really nice site, just my style too!

Yeah, and the mp3 player was great:)

The only thing I miss is a subtle background... But then again, I'm a maniac on backgrounds, I allways say that in my posts, so nevermind. I'll stop no.

Great work!

Slumgutt, It had to be pure white on the bands orders - no background :mu:

dude9er, I can't remember how I did that but I'll check out what you ask for and write back. :s:

Pi - air I have emailed you about the player. :p:

Thanks guys for all those comments - I'd forgot about this post, it was ages ago - nice to be reminded.

Works in both Firefox and IE for me. The mp3 player ran smoothly and the sound was clear. The site itself has nice page transitions and the music doesn't seem to be affected. There is no lag in the transitions either. Nice job.

I like the site design and how clean everything is. One thing I'd take a look at though is making your section-to-section transition a little smoother. When the 'doors' close everything disappears a second when the preloader kicks in. It would be cool if your preloader was actually within the symbol on the doors...and when that filled up or changed color would smoothly open up and show the section... Other than that it works nice, and the mp3 player is cool too

Can't view. Asking for a user name and pass. :(

Serkios, I know, thats a good idea about the preloader - might do it in the future.

The different pages load in at levels so I cant get it so there isn't a slight moment when everything disapears.

Dj yeah that once happened to me and I have no idea why, I haven't put this into the site in any way and can only assume it is some problem or error with the server. If it continues, I'll phone the hosting company for advice

Cheers all
