Hahaha, today was no work, no school, just play.. it was awsome..

The weather was warm, it was sunny and breezy.. I love this place...

I went out surfing by a place called black point, some of the richest people lived there.. this place where I surfed, many years ago, some rich lady atemted to make a harbour for her yacht, failed.. but the place looks cool!

I agree with UNFLUX & Tuknuk, nice shots. If there is one thing I could suggest, is looking into leading lines. The only issue with those 2 shots, and this is really a minor issue, is that the lines of the board take your eyes to an odd place in both photos. If you had given the board more of an oblique angle (make the board come out of the lower left, keeping in mind the rule of thirds, your eyes would follow the board up creating a more pleasing image to the eye.

Leading lines are extremely important, in regards to composition, as they make it "easier" to view for most people.

also, I would use just a touch more contrast, to make the images jump off the screen a bit more.

Yesterday I set up all my patio furniture and it was still like 10C with an awfully cold wind. I thought of maybe having a barbecue but it's still too cold to really enjoy.

I was trying to work with the rule of thirds, it didnt come out quite like I wanted it..but I will try your suggestion later on.. thanks for the feedback.

I could see your use of thirds. Nicely done that. Next time, try using a leading line from the lower left, and eventually guiding your eye to the upper 1/3 quadrant.
