So I've got PSCS, and I've been using it for awhile, but it wasn't until after I had to revive my computer, that I've noticed that some keys aren't working in PS... this may have occured before my PC died, but I'm not sure, since I had only just up-graded to CS before it died... but I can't use any of the CTRL+Key commands (CTRL+C, and CTRL+X especially) The arrow keys don't do anything, and neither does Home, End or Delete, if I'm typing in a text area...
This makes no sense. I've always used to use the arrow keys to nudge things around, and Not to mention the fact that I almost live for the CTRL+C, CTRL+V, END, HOME, and DELETE keys! They all work in other programs just fine, regardless of what else is going on, and I can't think of what would cause this! I'm going nuts!
The other thing, is that I have WinAmp 5 Installed, I use it constantly. I have it set to use GlobalHotKeys, which I thought was the problem, but I disabled them, and it didn't make a difference. Right now I only have one HotKey for Winamp: CTRL+ALT+B+A Skips to the next song from within any program. The reason for the long command, is that I have one of the new Logitech Optical mice, with scroll button, and 3 extra buttons: a Thumb Button (which I use for "Back" in my web-browser), and Right Button (which is on the right side of the mouse, in the same posisiton as the Thumb BUtton, and I use for "Forward"), and a command Button, which is a tiny button right beneath the scroll wheel. By default, the Command Button opens a list of open programs that you can click on to open, which is useless if you're so used to ALT+TAB like I am, but I changed it, so that when you click the Command Button on the mouse, it sends the command to the computer that I pressed: CTRL+ALT+B+A, and skips to the next song in WinAmp...
For some reason, I think that the global hotkeys might be causing this problem, but short of completly removing winamp, I don't know how to test it... anyone else have this problem? Perhaps its something else....
