hey i have a digital camera and I deleted the images by mistake off my compact flash card. Does anyone knwo of a free way to recoverthese images?

As far as I know you can't if you deleted them off the flash card, they are gone.

there are many 3rd party companies who offer software for recovering images but I found one that is downloadable and got 99 percent of my images back. Now I can charge my colleagues (photographers) for the service hehe.

no crap!!??

I know you can capture lost data off of a hard drive with a few utilities, but I didnt know you could get lost pictures from a flash card! Please, give us the link - I also have a camera that uses flash cards for storage!

it's a program called photo recovery. The thing is a zip file totally transferrable. If anyone wants a copy let me know and it's 3 megs, I can transfer via msn messenger or email.
