No more questions asking how to make walls please

Am I the only one sick and tired of people posting the exact same question 'how do I make these stupid lame walls work'? Seriously I think these people don't even try anymore.

HitTest is a command that can either;

test the bounding boxes of two movieclips to see if they overlap

or test if the origin coordinate (the little crosshairs when you select a movieclip) of a movieclip touches the shape of another

depending on how it's written.

Go find a tutorial or something on it ok?

Perhaps there is a 'how do I make these stupid lame walls work'-virus which infects all newbie flashers and tells them to post this question! :) Just a joke!

I know this problem. You want to make games. You are surfing in the internet. You see some really great Flash Games. You want to make your own Flash Games. Now you have Flash. But how does it work? And how does this great Flash Games work? And you have a brilliant idea for your own game - but you don't know how to programm it!

You need some help. You are looking for a forum. You find a forum and now you can post and ask questions. But you don't really understand Flash's programming language.

When I was beginning with flash, I didn't have internet at home, therefore I had to buy books and learn offline.

You have to learn Action Script Basics! Without them, you will be just a Code-Copy-And-Paster!

Whoa.. I did a search for "hitTest", and there are 25 topics in this section with a hitTest in there somewhere...
Admitedly, one of them is this post, but still...
At least one of those posts should have the answer everyone needs! There's no need for all this redundancy!! :!:

yeah, dont know why but there was a sudden rush of hittesting, maybe a tutorial here on kirupa would answer a lot of questions before some other newbie that didnt search the forum posts em
