.wmv [ Help / Suggestions plz ]

Hello Guys

One of my clients want to have video on his website..he sent me .wmv format
I hav'nt done this before but i am thinking to give a direct link to these wmv files..maybe open the page in new window..also i will type rightclick..save as instructions there to download the file and then play..my question is

if i open the wmv file on different page "_blank" will it stream?
or open the window media player and stream there?

Also i need help on newsletters..how to start > manage them.

don't use .wmv.

Microsoft are trying to expand their monopoly into other areas, and it isn't that great a format anyway.

Use AVI or MPEG instead. You can find a guide at http://www.dvdrhelp.com/forum/userguides/115913.php

About newsletters, try searching - I remember some posts about it a while ago.

Think i can convert the extention to .mpg but my client wants .wmv

in a way its helpful to me too..i am working on 4kbps and imagine howmuch time will it take me to upload 10 files which are 7-9 mb's size.He can get it uploaded from uk in a directory and i can give the direct path and open file in new window... will it work?
