Wzup guys, i was looking for a flash mx tutorial, and ran into this site. it seems like i will be spending a lot of time here :beam: . I like the "community" feel this site has, much like 3dbuzz.com. I've been using photoshop for about 2 years, and using maya and 3dmax for about 2 years as well. I just started using flash, but i learned alot of stuff fast mainly from the net, and flash mx bible.
Well anyway, im looking forward to meeting the "regulars" here, and i'll be back:cool: .

I hope you find this to be a good learning forum as well.


It is ashame you came now.... Phils motherboard went down and he is Mr. KirupaWelcomeWagon around here.... but word of advice (since he isn't around)... run when you see him ;).....lol.

Oh yeah, I forgot to warn you... This forum is famous for its trout slappings.

Welcome to the forums. I see you've had you're obligatory welcome trout, so I'll skip that little formality. No doubt Uncle Phil will be arriving on the scene shortly to administer an official hello and some sage words of advice. :)

I hasten to add that I am not insane, nor do I slap people with trout unless they're really asking for it of course.

i would have replied sooner, but for some reason the proxy server at school blocked this website:angry: . Have any of you guys ever used maya (or 3d max) with photoshop to make effects?

I used to be fairly beastly with Maya back in college. And in high school I used to hack around on a 1980's version of 3D studio (there was no MAX at that point). That was fun - but to be honest, I personally havent used it in conjunction with PS for stylish effects. I think I might have a gremlin I did a while back though :-\

hmm... gremlin (http://userpages.umbc.edu/~tmccau1/maya/grem.jpg) - ah memories haha.

The drawing and design is probably a good place to check out for that kind of stuff ;)
