My client is rather particular about the layout of her site. I would appreciate any honest suggestions that you might have. You can ignore any of the text that you find there. It's just me walking her through the site explaining how the site will be set up when finished.

There is no preloader yet so 56K's will have to give it a little time to load.

Thanks,
Jeff

It looks somehow bland even though i think the logo is great - here are a few things
- fonts are all different, try getting a unique one that is crisp and not too common
- your scrollbar looks chromy (really good btw) but the rest of the site doesn't - doesnt fit

looks like good coding though - keep workin'

You need more colours.

Thanks for your honesty mlkdesign,

I'm not sure what you mean about the scroll bar looking "chromy" and please excuse my ignorance, but what does "btw" mean?

Thanks again,
Jeff

for now the intro on elected officials is kind of out of place and doesn't look professional...

i like the simple color transistions in the other areas,

also maybe focus on integrating the top part with the navigation and content sections - they seem to be two separate entities and they should flow together...

loads quickly tho!

Somehow theres a mix and match of styles in there.

Basically sites good but you need some standards i.e font

design is bland. the white space u have on the left kind of kills it for me, and im not wild over the transitions.
