hi, i just got an link from a friend...

if you scroll down and hit the "flame" there is a colage done on a book... now my question is... how did the guy made this great background and that dirt!?

i totaly felt in love with that kind of art and i would love it to try it myself...

and what do you think about this kinda art... i never saw such a thing before...

there is no contactinformation on this site, so im completely :-?

The dirt is just brushes and blending styles and that kind of things.
I think it would look a lot better without the bright yellow though, that throws if off. If you want to see some great exampes of that kind of art(grunge) check out UNFLUX's latest thread as well as Sintax321's.

no, i dont mean the website itself...
if you scroll down and click on the flame, then a window pops-up
and you see a picture of a imo scanned book...

this is traditional art imo!? :-?

Yeah, the book. With the yellow background and all that and it says Normal People Scare Me or something to that effect on one of the stickers?

Everywhere.
Most brush sites have stuff like that. Do a search for reflux brush sets, they're pretty good grunge ones. Or make your own brushes. It's really not that hard at all to make something like that, I don't really think that was is all great it my opinion.

Go find grunge brushes from google, and then fool around with them in Photoshop. You'll see how it was done quite quickly.

Photoshop brushes are the way to go though.. search the forums you should find heaps of links.

you'll also find a bunch of good paper textures at www.imageafter.com just search paper ;)
