Well, I don't post much stuff here but I was wondering if anyone thought this was kind of cool. Everyone in my class seemed to like it, but I didn't think it was that cool. The assignment was to make 3 basic objects, I just threw the weird sculpture in there for the heck of it. I know I know, the background is super generic clouds, but it wasn't even required =/

looks a bit too dark with all this white surrounding it.

Yeah, it's the first time I've ever actually tried to do perspective like that in photoshop. Never realized how easy it could be (for boxes, at least..... heh)

While I'm at it, here is another one for a different class. Some hardcore photo restoration... This source image was really bad quality low res with bad jpeg artifacting, don't know why they gave us that image to use, but here they are before and after.

Her cheek is a little messed up, and so is the background. Anything jump out at you guys as looking bad? Overall I was suprised I was able to restore that mess this far, since I've never attempted anything like it. Right now I'm coloring a black and white version of the same pic, I'll post that sometime next week.

looking good man!
the restored pic:
the rose over the guys right shoulder, and some bush there...sticks out a little too much, maybe blur soften it back in...
the background looks kinda bright to me...but its still looks good for the restoration.
Also the guys hair on the top left, make it blend a little more...

Good points guys, Thanks! After staring at it for so long it gets harder to see the flaws. Theres still some of that blue flare on the girls back too.
