New Site please critice

I am a broadcast graphic designer and I just updated my portfolio site. Please check it out. Any feedback is greatly apreciated.

here's what i'd do:

1. center the page using a table. the table would contain your tan (maybe a little less orangy would be good too) color. use a background image of some pattern in the red color. http://www.squidfingers.com/patterns/ for backgrounds.

2. cut out the loading animation for your menu.

3. maybe use a horizontal menu instead because you only have 4 options.

4. your animation thing in the upper right is cool but when it's the same color as everything else, it doesn't catch anyone's attention like it should.

here is wht i wud do, besides hwhtbwh2 pointed out.
Instantly change the orange,.. everything is same.
At the bottom of the page have a Last updated feature.
Have the full menu available on every page. Deactivate the particular link if visiting the page.
