Hello,

I'm having a bit of trouble creating graphics. I want to learn how to create graphics but all the tutorials I've found so far deal with how to make interfaces and text graphics. I haven't been able to find anything that teaches me how to make graphics such as cartoons, and that kind of stuff.

Does anyone have any sites they can recommend?

Thanx.

What kind of thing are you after exactly? Cartoon drawing is quite a wide ranging topic...

And what program? Photoshop? Illustrator? Flash?

See, what I want to be able to do is create anything really. I just want what I create, say with photoshop, to have that embed look. For example, say I wanted to create a cartoon monkey... I can easily do that on paper, but the image is only 2D. Say if I create the same monkey on photoshop, the image is still 2D but I know photoshop can be used to make it look more 3D but on a 2D level.

I'm trying to find tutorials that use photoshop (assuming photoshop is the program I should be using) to create these images. I know how to use the embed features of photoshop to make a simple box look as if it rises on the page (screen), but I don't know how to take this feature and apply it to, for example, my monkey.

I hope this makes some sense, I'm having a hard time finding the terminology to explain what my mind is seeing.

Thanx.

Hey Something

Here's a tutorial on how to make a cool camera in PS. You could probably learn some stuff from it.
