I have never heard of it before. It looks awesome though.

BTW: Thank you for submitting links to the Tutorials thread in the D&D section of the forum. I deleted your post, but I added your links up and put you in the Thanks text at the bottom :)

Sure, I'm very familiar with it.

What are you interested in knowing about the application?

I'm familiar with it - I work for Strata. :) I was just wondering how many other people use it. I never see it mentioned anywhere in the Flash communities - which surprises me.

Really? I've worked with them for the past few years as part of their Partner program, in a sense a software engineer (as well as testing, etc.). In what capacity do you work for Strata (they don't have many employees) ?

Strata is mentioned all over the Flash community. We had the Electric Rain Ravix Engine implemented in Strata 3D Pro as one of the rendering options for Flash output a while back, which was talked about in detail on the were-here.com boards (and ultrashock).

A lot of people use Strata in the Flash community. I think more use Plasma or 3DS Max, but those applications are cumbersome and not very good at busting out very nice quick design work.

cheers,

I do a lot of design stuff, maintain the website, etc.

Maybe I was referring more to this site. There was never a word about Strata mentioned in referrence to 3D here. :)
