beta, is it just me or is the tutorial section.........gone??? and also scripting contest

Yep it is gone. Kirupa removed it. People were using it to ask questions about the tutorials on the site, but that was the puprose of the Flash MX or Flash 5 sections.

The tutorial section was for people to post their own tutorials.


Not many people did, and many that did, weren't fit to add to the site anyway. Some were just slight slight modifications of tutorials already on the site that wouldn't take much to modify.

how did you do that. i tried to do that in front page and it wasnt showing to well. it would cut off half the word when it blinks.

It was just the matter of getting the width, speed, and amount of space it scrolls to work together.

Ummm to change the text... just change the text.


And to set a background color add this to the tag


BGCOLOR="#999999"



change #999999 to whatever value you want.
