This post relates to the "flash within flash thread at the above link.
Namely, inserting an external swf into another swf. At present, I have a mc on a layer and a button on another layer. When you press the button, the mc is replaced by an external swf movie.
However, whenever I try to do it, the external movie replaces everything, rather than just slotting into the mc layer, even when not on the bottom layer.
How do I get Flash to replace a mc with a external swf file on one layer while still maintaining the content of the layers above and below it?
Plus, how do I make sure that the incoming movie maintains it's proper size and shape rather than filling the whole of the original movie's frame?
