Thanks

Just so you know, the favicon is buggy as hell in IE, but it'll work great in other browsers. Just a word of warning

favicon only works in IE if the page has been bookmarked. Until the user bookmarks the page, they will get the regular IE icon in the address field.

As an addition to what blindlizard said... the favicons always show in my favorites up until I clear my cache... then by by favicons.... all IE icons.

By cache do you mean Tools | Internet Options | Clear History
or
Tools | Internet Options | Delete Files

I don't know which one does it, I do them all at the same time before I shut down at the end of the night.

Ah, I have never noticed that before...but I gon't clear anything very often. Except, I do use the delete files when I cannot view source of a page. I found out the hard way when I was trying to view source and nothing was happening. I found that if you delete all the temporary internet files that view source starts to work again...
