I will be getting a new computer near the summer. Its my choice if I would rather want a desktop computer or a laptop. Which one would you choose and why...


My second question is...

Do you guys have any suggestions on good hosting sites for websites etc. I'm not talking about the free ones like angelfire. I would like to know some quality and reliable hosting sites...

When it comes to the laptop, it all depends on what you want... mobility, go with the laptop, otherwise, get a desktop. I already have a good desktop, so I'm going to get a laptop next so I can go out in the summer or spring and get some air while working...

As for hosting sites, I'm looking for one too ;)

Do a search in the Random forums, it has been asked countless times.

And I'd go with the laptop, might be a little tough on the wallet, but it'll be worth every penny if you get a good deal.

Hey Jako,

I just got a nice new laptop and I like it that it is portable however I don't really ever have to take it anywhere so part of me is wondering why I got it.

On the other hand right now I'm stretched out on my lazy boy watching the tube and surfing the web. Come to think of it I rarely ever do any actual work on my laptop. If you're getting your new pc for play I'd get a laptop but for work I'd stick with a desktop.

Unless you need to take your computer with you places I would reccommend a desktop. Cheeper, better to work on, and you can upgrade/customise them a with a lot less effort. =)
