Hey everyone,
Does anybody have any idea on how to disable the AOL Today window that appears each time I launch AIM in version 5.5.3501? I can't seem to find the nice checkbox to disable that annoyance. Previous versions of AIM did have that :)

Settings>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs>AOL Instant Messenger :beam:

haha. I may try DeadAIM. I am certain that does not have the AOL Today window to appear :beam:

I know - but my version doesn't have that. Maybe I was their 1 millionth downloader and that was my prize :beam:

Edit: Well it doesn't look like you can disable it...nuts...

haha - I don't want to use trillian because I hate its buddy organization features. I guess I may give DeadAIM a shot :beard:

Trillian is the best! Doesn't AOL's Messenger have spyware or something?

You could try gAIM as well..
