I was just curious as to who developed this site. I have some friends who have message boards, and was just wondering who made it, and how long it's been running for.

I tend to like their bulletin boards, but you do have to pay for them. Another good one that many people also like is phpBB (http://www.phpbb.com)

The earliest post I can find here is from 5/2001 and that was during the ezboard days. The current vBulletin version has been around since 6/2002 I think. Not sure about the date. I need to keep a diary....err journal ;)

I checked out phpbb just 2 days ago, and it is not good ;( It has just basic features.
I'm back to using Invision Power Board and the new version 1.3 is great :D

Invision is probably your best free-forum to use. .

phpBB has more support and modifications. I'd go with phpBB over Invision.
