I would like to know wether freehand or illustrator would be better for vector illustration. Any opinions on which one is better. :P :P

Personally I like Illustrator.

I have neverused Freehand though.


Another great one is Fireworks.

I've worked with both and to me they're both great vector programs. It all depend on you though, what you're use to and what kind of projects you'll be using them for.

I've been using Illustrator longer so I'm use to it so I don't use Freehand much.

Actually what it comes down to is if you use other macromedia products for your development. Because the integration between the products are very valuable as a stand alone it is a toss up because the are both great. I personally find freehand more intuitive. Hands down if you use other macromedia prods then go with freehand. Fireworks is very good also.
