Hi.

Due to our old machine being stolen, we have just purchased a new G5 mac. As we used to run OS9 on the old mac, I am having a few problems setting up the new machine regarding Quark 5 and printing from it to my Epson 1290. I used to have Epson Rip software installed on the old mac also, but unfortunately that was stolen too!

Ive read that OSX doesnt require a RIP software, is this true, even if printing from OS Classic (Quark 5 doesnt run in OSX)?

Can someone let me know how they arrived at a solution, as im sure im not the onlyy one to have encountered this problem?

Thanks
