When I was watching over my kitten in Detroit 2 falls ago... I woul always put my kitten on the desk while I was working and I'd le him roam around. So cte... And while I was typing he'd try and bat my fingers :)

Lift the tail and look just beneath its ******* ("arsehole" for our British readers). You can tell if it's a female. If it isn't, it's not.

my friends cat is named smokey, for two reasons. one has to do with his color :esmirk:

i actually have grown to really like the cat, he's so playful. that's what i don't like about most cats, they want to be left alone, but his is cool.

Don't expect your new cat to do tricks. Cats are hard to teach. Most are too smart to play that game, so if you want to teach a cat to roll over and play dead, get a really stupid cat.
...is not true. At least not with mine. I didn't buy my cat, I got it from a farmer who had a zillion cats per year. He (the cat, not the farmer) found out all by himself to open the kitchen door by jumping to the latch, and yet, when I said "in your basket!", he listened, just like a dog. He could even give you a paw if you asked for it. Stupid? I don't think so.
