drag mask help needed, PLEASE

I am working on a project involving a drag mask effect and for some reason, when I add another time frame, the picture is losing its quality, showing super-pixelated... and I am pulling my hair out. Can anyone help me out? Does anyone have a clue as to why this is happening? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!

Use bmp's, they work a lot better than other formats in flash.
