can someone check my site for me?

i've borrowed the snowflake effect from this website and of course the news component...

I'm getting a little lag on my computer when i view it through explorer.... is it my computer or do i have too much going on @ one time? thx...

the only link that works is the "about us" link and thatz not done either... any critiques on colors and other stuff are welcome please, thank you!
