WAY WAY WAY too good to be true!
Probably will cost like $1,000 or some dumb price (for a "console")

Rumors around that forum say that the console will have a crappy version ($300) and an expensive version (probably much much more)
I'm not sure this will be pouplar, the main reason I play on GameCube and Playstation is becuase there is no "Expensive" and "Cheap" version, all the games work on all the systems... And that's why i think Phantom will not work out.
"Gen 1" Is the beta console, look at the size! It's huge!

the "Gen 2" console will be much smaller

The size wouldn't be a problem, but I wouldn't pay that much money just for a gaming console....

i dont know, it might just be me but isnt that just an overglorified pc?
pentium 4 and 256 mb ram just doesnt seem like a good enough reason to choose this over any other pc

looks like a pc case tilted sideways, vaporware thats what this console is gonna be it will go down the road of the turbo grafx, neo-geo and 3DO too bad all that time spent doing something thats not gonna sell especially without third party support

i agree with most you guys...it would be better just to get a computer
heck, if you have a 2.0+ ghz processor, 512 mb ram, and a decent nvidia/ati video card, you can max out all the games available today pretty much. plus, you can run games at like 1600x1200 on your computer as opposed to a crappy 640x480 on your tv.
but i still envision the day (in the very near future) when gaming consoles, tv's, and computers become one unit.

i think ill stick with my xbox. I don't think infinium labs has enough funding for this kind of project.

I read some article about the guy running Infinium Labs. He's basically one big risk-man. He gets investors and tries for that 1 in a million thing. Over and over. And over.
I see this as being another failure.

Eh.. Not sure.. It's the wave of the future though guys.. Imagine not having to leave your house to go rent a video game or even to go buy a video game!
No need to wait for "copies" to come out.. You can gte it right away.. !
Plus.. With the wireless connectivity.. it makes it transportable... Yeah it's big.. But I've seen geeks carry heavy computer systems around for lans.. They'll deal :D

LoL.
I'll stick with my xbox. It's already a linux box. I don't need another console to mod.

I do not have any room anywhere in my house for the gigantic ugly thing......Unfortunately this this thing is going to be like my turbo grafx and my jaguar that I still have. Just obsolete junk.
Man I thought xbox was huge, If someone accidently snatched that thing of a shelf and it lands on a foot or a kid.........911..
I would love to be a tester tho. Just to try it
