You can't host images from geocities!

Actually Dan, believe it or not, you can!!!

I know I know, I thought you couldn't either too, but seems someone found a way, and it has been said a few times on the forum.


You will have to give your file the extention .txt before you upload it (so it will be image.txt). Then upload it to geocities.


Then link to it as www.geocities.com/yourName/image.txt

I don't know about tripod, I just know it works on geocities.

How are you guys changing the extension? I know that sounds like a noobish question but everytime I try to rename it with the .txt it just adds the extension on to the end of that. Thanks.

probably notepad or something, but I'm not good with that stuff. I know I edit most of my XML junk with notepad.
