I am interested as to which people prefer , music , movies, games, books, or art.
If you could only have one of the above in your life which would it be ????
I personally go for music every time :)
Without it id probably have gone nuts years ago....

That's a really big dilemma you're putting here man :), I mean I can't do without music for sure, but I don't know what I would do without other stuff either, like books or movies or games...

thats tricky, I'd go for music, but then I've wasted many an hour to computer games so I guess I get the most entertainment out of games.
Then again if I didn't play games so much I might spend the time doin something more creative.
Yea its got to be music, it doesn't require your total attention so you can be doin other things too ;)

Books definitely!
Music is nice, but it doesn't help when my resume's education section has a picture of 2Pac wearing a bandana and looking sad :panda:

if you count flash as art than: art!
else if you count love as a game (i don't mean the feeling, I mean what you do if you are in love) :love
else if you count television as movie it would be television
else it would me music
I read at a maximum 2 books a year, so I guess books is what I could forget about the most easily.
Call me strage, but flash is what's above all :D

I hear that man, my headphones and music always go with me everywhere.
they are my protectors from the jabbering nonsense that most people go on about in the world....
I like to avoid listening to people as much as possible as most of them just annoy me..hehe :bad:
Seriously though nothing (apart from the obvious ;) ) can make you feel as good as hearing one of your favourite songs played loud and even better when theres people to share it with.
music rocks ..!
pardon the pun.
As AC/DC once said ..."for those about to rock..we slaute you.."

If I were stuck on a deserted island, and had to choose which of the above I could have...
then it is a no brainer, music. I would get tired of the same movies over and over, reading the same books, but I could hear the same tunes and not go freaking nuts.
ave:
I used to do the same, but found that 1) I became a target, especially after dark. 2) I was just isolating my anger towards stupid people. they were still there, I just ended up getting angry with them at different locations, most of the time where it wasn't good for me to get angry. 3) I missed a lot of stuff going on around me.
so, I unplug when I go out into the City, unless I'm going to a park, etc., and I am a lot more tolerant of people, since I can spread it out, and not have a crutch to insulate me from the world.
just my experience, take it what you will.

I guess hearing the same song over and over again would drive me nuts.
Is a girls love girls movie allowed?

I said tuneS ...
you could give me 100 movies/books, and I will tire of them pretty quickly.
not the same with music for me.

I've gotta go with music. I love the music! Couldn't live without it for sure

wasn't music like one of the first forms of communication...or something like that. I know music is a part of my culture...and on a less deep note....music tends to soothe me. I get very high strung sometimes so without music I would have snapped by now. So I need music...I like music in my games also. (I love xbox for that)

Music for sure. There are 3 things in life I could not go with out. Food, computer, and music. I could not ever go with out yummy food. Music, I could put up without for a while, but I would need it eventually. Computer I could go without the longest (but I will still want it pretty bad)

i cant read educational books unless i have my music , it stops the information going in one side of my head and leaving the other side immediately....hmm thats not the right spelling is it ?
however narrowing down my favourite songs/bands would be hard, but if it were a desert island then Bob Marley would have to be taken i think :p: though
****it id just have to take my PC as it has my songs on it, but thatd be cheating wouldnt it hehe

On my island I set the law and downloading would be legal. They could apply for extradition but as its my island I'm the government so I'd refuse it. Then they'd apply sanctions, but as I'm on an lsland sanction what!.. The only thing that they could then do is class me as a dictator and invade my island and overthrow me.
Not that I have thought about this much!

the art of conversation was buried a long time ago (on a desert island i think) and anyway how many converstaions could you have on a desert island after a few months there...
coversation starters hmm.....let me think
"have we got any water left..."
"have we got any food...."
"god you are looking thin and sunburnt..."
"wonder if we will escape ?"
Anyway was just me making assumptions that all beautiful girls are dull and boring....i am yet to have this disproved
but there is always hope....:)

OMG r u kidding.... then when you got bored of shagging
this reminds of a joke:
a british man, an american man and a french girl are the only survivors of a plane accident on a desert island.
of course the two men argue about who will be allowed to sleep with the girl. They find a compromise, that she will sleep with the british guy on every monday, wednesday and friday, and with the american guy on every tuesday, thursday and saturday.
after three weeks the girl dies.
the first week after that is hard for the two men
the second week is even harder.
in the third week finally, they decide to bury her...
