My HD bit the dust this AM (knew it was coming, had most things b/u), and I have to use my g/f's computer ...

so I will prob not be around much for a couple dayz...

I store all my really good hardworking stuff ona cd.. The only re-writable one I have.. And then at the end of each dya of hard work.. I back em up on this cd...

I have all my finished ones on just regular cd's then.. Along with movies and songs and stuff like that... I have a download cd as well.. All those downloads.. AIM, MSN and stuff like that...

Big library of cds in case my computer decides to pull a no brainer.

Everything else is backed up at least twice, with one b/u kept offsite. Experience taught me that one...

I also have the good fortune of networking a couple of computers together, so there is another way to b/u.

I don't really do a full b/u. I b/u some stuff here, some stuff there... that way if one fails, I don't lose everything. Of course all of my work stuff is b/u twice.

I back up whats important so that helps. if i lost all the other stuff i would be sad but I can find all of it again. the stuff i create is irreplaceable. IF i lost my work i would lose it.
