I got a "Mail Delivery Subsystem" MAILER-DAEMON***11.mediatemple.net when I tried to submit a tutorial to kirupa@kirupa.com . The message read:
Would you like to post any of my tutorials ( http://www.supree.com/hub/tutorials/index.html ) to be listed on www.kirupa.com ? I am trying to make a last stand before I shut my website down on November 29, 2003. If I get enough traffic from the link that will be posted on the tutorials you wish to post up, then I may consider to still maintain my website.
:sigh: Yup, I am going to quit web designing for life on November 29. I will also cancel my internet connection at that time, for I will have no use for it afterwards. My anger at the internet has caused me to take these actions.
(1) - There's no need for the internet to check my e-mail. Why check it when 90% of it is spam mail?
(2) - It's hard to find decent people that will help build a website. That's because people want fast results; they give me one tutorial, don't see any money coming to them, end up getting frustrated, and quit the business. Well sir, to have a business takes hard work; don't expect miracle million dollars.
(3) - I have too much homework to kill time on the internet. Just last night, I didn't sleep until 2 AM. I beleive people can accomplish many things in the time they have wasted on the internet. Noble prizes could be won; inventions could be created.

The tutorials are good, but they lack the "fluffy text" of the other tutes on the site. Tutorials should not only teach, but they should also inspire something new for the reader.
A tutorial is a way for you to connect with your reader! You respect them, make em chuckle, in the end they'll do the same to you. Simply giving them instructions isn't helpful to either you or your reader.
The style simply isn't suitable for this site supree - sorry.

Mdipi, you can take the tutorials. But I don't know how I'm going to give them to you. On a second thought, you can post them on your website. Just link back to www.supree.com ; we will see if that brings up my traffic.

Ah whatever. At least I tried. :puzzle: Down the drain they go. Anyways, I didn't have enough money to renew my hosting. :hair:

There in itself lies your problem...
Post em on the forums here someplace.. Get em popular or have someone put some emotion in them for you.. Then you'll be set...
Don't start big.. You won't get anywhere.. Trust me on that bud.. I'd host them all, I've got a semi popular background (not site quite.. yet but background).... But, I've got no time to take personal sites at hand unfortunately.

I think http://www.supree.com/hub/tutorials/flashMX/usability/sanity/index.html has the fluffed-up text you are looking for. Flash fool helped me make some of it.

I make no money from the site. What little I make from amazon referral purchases, I use for prizes for contests. There would be a LOT more annoying banners if I wanted to be profitable :)
