Far from finished

This ugly thing is far from finished, but I'm experiencing trouble with my computer and I'll have to format it and stuff...So it'll be a looooong time untill I can improve it and work on it again. So that's why I'm posting here waaaaay before I should, just to already know if there is something terribly wrong with it or if something should change.

well, theres not too much up yet to comment on, but heres first impressions:

why does the page suddenly go from gradient to white at the bottom? kinda sticks out...

the dropshadow is over white bg and the rest of the bg is that gradient.... not too noticeable though

speed the fps waaay up

i dont really like the black borders around the boxes. might look better without em, maybe not.

You are heading in the right direction... you shouldn't be so harsh on your self.

I agree about the drop shadow, but me likes black pixel border...

I like the art, and the colours are nice and fresh (bright). Only thing I would advise is to add a bit more spice to the transition effect. Oh yeah I noticed that some of your pixel fonts were blurred on the button rollovers.

I kind of put this thing up in a 'spirit of the moment' thing, coz it indeed is far from finished...I'm thinking of totally restarting when my computer is okay again... But I'll keep the main things.

I think the page transitions take too long personally, especially the opening transition. I like it tho, nice sound effects on the buttons.

dude it took way too long for you page to transform (transition)....Sorry man I x'd out before......BUt I wll say the flower is a lil jaggie.....add a slight feather to your selection and import it into flash a png file

I like the font ... but I think the animations take too much time. The picture on the left isn't revealed for a few seconds.

I didn't want to start reading until I saw what all the animation was doing, ya know? But I do like the setup. It's a cool looking site, I just think you should try and make the animations quicker, or get rid of them in lew of something faster.

Looks cool, but work on the time factor a bit.

Okay, thanks for all your comments everyone, they've been really constructive. As I said, I'm probably gonna redo it all over again, and work on the things you suggested. Once I get my friggin' computer in order :P

I'm gonna edit out the link in my first message, coz I'm actually starting to get ashamed of this version of the site the more I look at it :) So this can probably be closed.
