Children should be taught to use the internet "more creatively", rather than spending their time playing games chatting to friends, and spamming on kirupaforum.com, a report recommends.

there is a 'school of thought' out here on the west coast that actually ban computers in their schools until they have mastered basic math (7th grade I think). They say that the kids actually do better, because they develop their natural abilities, instead of depending on calculators, computors, etc.

The parents of the kids actually agree to not have video games, etc. in the house during these years, or if there are multiple kids, to not allow the young ones to play...

pretty drastic...

but a very expensive exclusive private school system.

Revhttp://aulman.com/rev.gif Honestly, math shouldn't only be a prerequisite to going on the internet, but also English (grammar, spelling, etc). Especially if these tykes (<= 16 years of age) are going to be posting in a public forum. :sigh:
