I am tring to integrate a flash movie into an HTML page. I have done it before, but for some reason I am now having trouble.
The movie that I want to integrate actually calls another movie at a specific keyframe, but when I view the page through Dreamweaver; I do not see the second movie play when it's suppose to.
Thanks for the help.

Be sure you target the movie correctly in Flash or that you have the .swf file in the correct place. If the movie isn't getting loaded in it is not a Dreamweaver problem, Dreamweaver is only used to put the embed code in to embed the movie, the Flash plugin is what handles anything that happens in Flash.

Does it work when you preview in Flash?

Did you move any files when you added this to your HTML page?

Everything is in its correct place.
The movie runs perfectly when I preview it in Flash or EVEN WHEN I PUSH PLAY IN THE PROPERTIES PANEL IN DREAMWEAVER!
So I have no idea what I'm doing wrong

FIGURED IT OUT!

First of all, I'm just hoping that they resolved this issue in MX 2004, because nobody knew what the hell I was talking about when I asked about my problem. But here is the solution...

Apparently, you cannot place your FLASH movies in a seperate folder of any kind. For example, I had placed all my movies in a folder called "MOVIES." Makes sense, right? But this results in the movies not getting played right especially if you have multiple movies calling one another.

Anyway, thanks for the help.

Wow, that's really weird, you should post your situation here...

It is a sticky thread listing all the bugs experienced in Flash MX 2004. Kinda like the Official KirupaForum Flash MX 2004 Bug List.
