Png....?

hi guys,
i want to make effect in PS and save it in alpha channel to import this effect in flash without ths backgroud... i did it before but i missed it now :(
can anyone help me to do it again =)

To save it without the background just go to file, save for web and to your right there should be a drop down menu that lets you select the format you want to use. To keep the transparency, select either GIF or PNG. Those are the only formats that supports transparencies.

but i remembered i have to make an alpha channel to get it .
you know if you make an effect arround text that what i mean.
so what about the alhpa channel or i missunderstand :-\
