Hey everyone, this is kinda like random and such... but moderately relevant.
I just downloaded this cool game called pocket tanks from here (http://www.blitwise.com/ptanks.html)
It's this really cool game where you have to decide the angle of trajectory(horrible spelling) and the power and your on alterable terrain and there is this huge amount of weapons and you can download expanisions and stuff.
It's like a really souped up old school game. Kinda like that one where the monkeys through bananas at eachother.. but I don't know if anyone ever played that other than me. Anyway, you should definately check it out, good time waster and highly addicting and I think it would be a cool if someone made a stripped down one in flash.
Sorry for rambling, but it's a fun game and I thought I'd share my happy little discovery:beam:

hm....must be a bug...
speaking of which, i changed my name (again...) because when i went to change morse's title, i accidentally clicked on the link to add him to my ignore list, so when i went to remove his name, you would do so normally by simply deleting his name and hitting update. but since i was known as a "space", it was thinking i was adding my name to my own ignore list. i knew that was a problem so i had to change...
oh yeah, if anyone else wants some modifications to their title as such, feel free to PM me or any other mod and they'll (hopefully) be glad to do it.

Qbasic was the first programming language i learned, well besides DOS you know...ahh the memories LOL i used to play those exact two games on basic! those were the best! at first all the basic code eluded me (this was years ago) and all i knew how to do was compile it, and thus play. ah, those were the days.

This game is awesome....and so was Scorched Earth. I played SE only a few weeks ago at school - DeathHead and LeapFrog are really cool wpns =)
Thor: Yes, I played Wacky Wheels also. I got a CD of about 3500 shareware games (only about 100-200 were actually good) about 6-7 years ago. Included in that were cool games such as Wacky Wheels, Mystic Towers, Raptor, etc.

RM Basic was great:

20 PRINT "Hello, press any key to continue"
30 INPUT A$
40 END
Ah, those were the days... :)

That was some RM Basic code to print a line of text on the screen, then accept a key press and end. :)
It's not my greatest work ever... :P

Old farts!? I am only sixteen. QBasic is one of the few programming languages that my high school has to offer (Qbasic, Java, C++, VisualBasic, HTML). I have learned all of them by myself... So no help for me :\.
::waiting for a new programming language::
