yeah it was a compliment.. I was saying you were ignorant not stupid. I take that as a compliment when it's given. :)

My mother told me when I was 8 and failed reading in third grade, that there is no such thing as stupid. People are handicaped, or they are ignorant. Since I doubt highly that you are mentaly handicapped (maybe insane, but there are plenty of smart insane people), you have nothing to worry about. You just have to learn something if you want to do it well.. and learning is a slow process.

Oh.. and even though Ray of light was a tutorial, it took me 5 hours to complete my first one. By the time I wrote my tutorial I had made 14 ray of light effects and it was still taking me an hour or so to do it. Sometimes things just take time. Nothing is instant.. if you think so, then you need to talk to more Flash designers. :)

It's a little different, because i removed the actual "node" mc, I think it looks cooler now, the lines also appear to get brighter the closer they get to a greater extent now, but they actually are getting slightly thicker
