I'm a webdesigner but since I do that 50 hours a week please don't get me to do anything like that.

Yes, a mod has to set up the rules, that way it is fair for everyone. It doesn't have to be just Dan or I though, it could be any mod.

Any rule can be contested and will be changed, just as long as it allows everyone to be able to finish the battle on time. One thing I am not sure of in this battle... The title says Photoshop or/and Flash and in the post it says Photoshop and Flash? Would everyone like to be a Photoshop and Flash, or just Photoshop, or just Flash? I will change it according to the agreement all participants come to.

Hey thanks Lost. That theme is simply delicious...so many possibilities...

Anyway I was under the impression that this was a Flash and/or PS battle meaning it was up to each individual contestant to decide what they use. I, myself, was going to use Flash (with PS bitmaps of course). If this is PS only, I'm afraid I'll have to pull out, cause I suck at static stuff. :) Otherwise, it is ok with you, Kaotic and Aldeon, if this is a Flash and Photoshop battle?

That's a good question...but I think it all comes down to the votes. Whatever you think will get you the most votes is the goal, I guess. I, myself, would give top marks to using Flash in a new and innovative way, but that's just me. :)

You need to create your image in Photoshop, then import it into Flash.

And while in flash you can do whatever you want to make it cool. Either just by adding neat little effects, or creating a short animation with it (if you can).

cna i just import a premade image, i have no idea and no skill to make anything decent as far as a base image for the flash movie
how bout we have an outside person make like a base image to use

Nope, you have to make your own image. Nothing old, it must be made new for this battle.

Just to clarify what Lost said/meant.

By "creat your own image" he didn't mean to draw your own image by hand, per se. He meant to put together your own image. You can use other stock pictures, as long as you change them and make them your own (like through effects or by photo manipulation, etc).

At least that's what I hope Lost meant. I can't draw for spit!

LOL, yeah, you can use stock photos and such, as long as you actually do something to them (besides adding words or something) that make them "your own" (for they can never really be your own, as the original photo would be someone elses).

Not that that effects anything in this battle.. but i'm wondering if there are more "photographers" on this forum. We could do a battle on that too.

I was going to spend today finishing it, since I have a day off.. but now i'll probably end up drinking beer somewhere with some friends

I think you can enter anything you want as long as it's Photoshop and/or Flash. I haven't even started mine!! I'm hoping to start tomorrow after work ::crosses fingers::

My intension was to focus on the flash part. I did the photoshop part first thinking it would be less important.. and now the flash part isn't any better so...

but nevermind.. these things happen in battle..

This looks like a very interesting poll for the winner, there is never a loser on this forum so we just call the winner just better on expressing thr theme of the battle.

Alethos, your expressed a lot of emotion and it had to be hard to do that, you have my condolence. Very nice job on that you have made yours the most meaningful submission I have seen in any battle.

Nice Flash interface Aldeon, sounds were sweet and the interface went smooth.

That's a sweet image Kaotic, you will have to tell us how you did that when you are done!
