Hey everyone,
I am gonna make myself a Deviantart.com Deviant ID cuz I'm bored.. so if anyone has a cool idea for one, let me know.

Basically what it is is a image representing you if you don't know what it is. Yup.. the end

as in, when you're requested for the ID, type "VeryCreativeName"

nope, deviant ID is just a picture thingy... like a big icon or avatar

Yeah, deviant art has the ability to have your image or an image you make as a deviant ID.

To see what it is you can check out http://lostinbeta.deviantart.com and see where my picture is, above it says "Deviant ID"

Not much is up here. I am doing well. How about yourself?

My footer had to go bye bye :( The new footer crackdown ( http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16926 ) requires that they be 15K, but mine was a whopping 180K with the transparent .png images and such used :(

ok, that's what I don't get. Why not convert the images to gif or jpeg format, stick them in a movie clip, and then decrease the alpha? I know it's not going to make a really nice blend effect like using pngs, but it's a cheaper option.
But then again, I'd have to check out your footer again, I remember what it looked like, but not exactly.

When you submit your image there is a <B>Category/Section</B> that says <B>Designs->deviantID</B>


Submit your image as that.


Now go into your settings, and under <B>deviantID</B> there will be a drop down box of all images you submitted as deviantID images.

It doesn't produce the same effect because some of my images had solid areas and blurred out/faded edges. So if I were to just convert this to a .gif file, those partially transparent areas will have a background color to them, which when lowered the alpha just looks funny anyway.
